Our team has officially wrapped up the first exploration trip of the season in the historic Cariboo Goldfields — and despite challenging spring conditions, the results were extremely encouraging.
Between lingering snowpack, spring runoff, deep clay, and more than a few bush mechanic repairs, this trip tested both our equipment and determination. At one point, we even buried a truck in clay far enough to remind us that exploration work is never glamorous — but that’s all part of operating in real mining country.
Most importantly, the field program delivered strong test results and valuable new targets that have increased our confidence in the project area. Early indicators continue to support the potential we see in these highly prospective gold-bearing gravels.
The Cariboo remains one of Canada’s most legendary gold districts, and we’re excited to continue advancing our exploration efforts as conditions improve through the season.
A huge thank you to the community of Wells, the local businesses and miners, and a huge thank you to local prospector/historian Ian Douglas for the tour and helping pull the truck free. Big shout out to our crew for the hard work, resilience, and long days in difficult terrain. This is only the beginning.
The Cariboo still has plenty of gold left to give.

Good to hear, and definitely still lots of gold out there. The old timers went after the grades that were profitable back then. But for sure, it is good to have more than 1 vehicle in the party when you go into the bush or be prepared for some odd fixes.
