What A.I. prompts are you using to make any part of the mineral exploration process more efficient and/or effective?
EXAMPLE: MINERAL EXPLORATION PROMPT #1
(Attach your PDF in the AI form)
"This PDF contains details about a [DEPOSIT_TYPE] gold deposit on the _____ property near _____, BC, Canada.
Please read this PDF and identify:
Any flaws in historical mining work in the early 1900’s
Any flaws in exploration strategy by the author of the report, plus what they should have done instead
Any ways to use modern geologic and mineral exploration knowledge, tools and techniques plus other modern technologies to gain a better understanding of this gold deposit"

@sebo - I'm using 3 different free AI's most days - each has their own unique style as well as stregths and weaknesses:
ChatGPT
Perplexity.ai
Claude.ai
They are far from perfect, and some of the information is totally false. However, in aggregate, they provide way more good ideas than bad, and almost always move the level of understanding forward leading to real progress.
You can attach entire reports, minfiles, data tables, assays, etc, and let the AI's interpret them for you, identify flaws in historical work as well as recommend modern exploration strategies.

I find that a good approach to prompting is to follow these steps:
If the chat starts to get off topic then start a new one using the above three points.
So for example:
I use that framework for a variety of different topics and tend to get very high quality results.
I hope that helps!

I feel AI should not be accepted by ARIS in any form as I have started to see signs of it in reports with alot of wrong information. Mineral exploration is based on boots on the ground work, and even historical data compilation by AI has proven to me to be highly incorrect.

CuPorphyryDaddy - some good points above. It's an arms race between people usign AI, and government organizations using AI to detect AI usage (in mining, education, etc). The parts that AI gets right can be quite useful in exploration in my opinion. It's about knowing the limitations of the tools, and using accordingly.
