Community field guide
Good conversations need clear ground rules.
Prospectors Web is a place to exchange practical knowledge, ask honest questions, and learn from people across the mining community. These rules help keep it useful for everyone.
The essentials
Six rules for
taking part.
Keep your contribution relevant, considerate, and safe to share. A little context goes a long way.
-
Respect the community.
Follow our Code of Conduct whenever you post or reply.
-
Use English.
Write posts and replies in English so conversations remain accessible to the wider community.
-
Keep it useful, not spammy.
Do not post spam. Share information that contributes meaningfully to the discussion.
-
Add context to property discussions.
When discussing a specific mineral property, clarify that its intended use is mining or exploration only. Be mindful about sharing your own or anyone else’s personal contact information.
-
Keep promotion in the directory.
Recommendations and relevant discussion are welcome, but the forum is not a promotional channel. To share your company with the community, add it to the Mining Directory.
-
Do not recruit.
Do not use forum posts or replies to recruit for your own company or for another company.
